How do I upload a file to multiple File Drop folders?

An Instructor can upload copies of the same file to multiple students' File Drop folders simultaneously.  Similarly, a collaboration site's Owner or Administrator can upload copies of the same file to multiple site members' File Drop folders.

Click File Drop.

Go to File Drop.

Click File Drop in the tools menu on the left side of the page in your site.

Click Upload files to multiple File Drop folders.

Click Upload files to multiple File Drop folders.

Click Browse and select the file to be uploaded.

Select the file to be uploaded.

Click the Browse... button to browse for and select the file from your local computer.

Optionally, you may also edit the display name of your file if you would like it to be different than the file name.

Select the destination folders for your file.

Select the destination folders for your file.

You will see a list of the student/member folders in your course File Drop. Select the student/member name, group, or roster from the list of Available users on the left and use the right arrow button (>) to move the name/group over to the Selected users on the right.

You can select multiple names or groups at once by holding down the Control (CTRL) or SHIFT key on your keyboard and clicking on the names/groups to select.  Holding the SHIFT key and clicking selects several names/groups that appear consecutively in the list, whereas CTRL allows you to select multiple individual names/groups.
