What is the Statistics tool?

Statistics allows site administrators to view site usage statistics and user activity events.

Note: Only events that occur after the Statistics tool has been added to a site will be included in its reports. Statistics for activities in Resources and Site Info are recorded by default. To capture statistics for additional tools, you will need to select the tools in the Statistics Preferences.

Statistics Features

Statistics allows site administrators to:

  • View summary reports on the tool's main page for a quick overview of site usage.
  • Set preferences to specify which tools' events are included in the reports.
  • Create and save custom reports for additional details on activity in specific tools, e.g., who opened files in Resources.
  • Export reports as a spreadsheet or PDF.

To access this tool, select Statistics from the Tool Menu in your site.
