How do I make a Resources file or folder publicly viewable?
Site owners can make a file or folder publicly viewable. This means that the file or folder can be viewed by anyone with the file or folder's URL. The file or folder can be accessed by those who are not site participants, as well as individuals who do not have accounts in UVaCollab.
Note: Be careful to review copyright restrictions on materials before making them publicly viewable.

How do I obtain the link (URL) for a file or folder in Resources?
Each file and folder in Resources has its own URL. You can share links to items in Resources with your site participants (e.g. via email).
Note: If you copy a link in Resources and paste it into the Rich-Text Editor in another tool (e.g. Lessons) rather than using the Server Browser to select the item in the editor, the link will not change when you import content from the site.

How do I un-hide (show) hidden files or folders in Resources?
There are 2 methods an instructor (or other participant with appropriate permissions) can use to un-hide (show) files or folders.
Method 1: Select file(s) or folder(s), click Show. Note: This method does not display a hidden folder that has visible contents.
Method 2: Select Edit Details from the Actions menu, select Show this folder/item.
Note: Choosing to Show a hidden folder automatically makes available the items within it, unless those items have been individually hidden.
