How do I add additional lesson pages?
Accessing the Lessons tool
To access the Lessons tool, select the Lessons link in the tools menu.
Instructors using multiple instances of the tool in a single course site may wish to rename the instances to avoid confusion. Also, the tool may appear with another name if site templates are used to create course sites. In the Activities Grid template, the tool is named the Activities tool; in the SCPS template, the tool is named the Class Activities tool; and in the Activities Menu template, multiple instances of the tool are automatically added, each named for a week in the course. All of these names may be changed according to instructor preferences.
The default page of each instance of the tool contains text that provides more information on the tool and its use.
Adding lesson pages from Site Info
To add lesson pages from the Site Info tool, access the tool and select Manage Tools in the gray menu bar near the top of the page.
The system will display a list of tools. Select Lessons, then scroll to the bottom of the page and select Continue.
Add a page title and additional instances
Enter an alternative title for the pages in the Title field and select additional pages using the More Lessons Tools? dropdown menu, if desired, then select Continue.
The system will display a list of tools included in the site; the newly added pages are displayed in red. Select Finish to confirm the changes. The pages will be added to the tools menu on the left side of the page.
Adding lesson pages from a lesson page
To add lesson pages from an existing lesson page, select More Tools, then select Add More Pages.
Enter page title and number of pages
Enter a title for the page and a number of pages to be created, then select Save to confirm the changes. The new pages will be added to the tools menu on the left side of the page.
