How do I add a class roster?

Only instructors-of-record in the Student Information System (SIS) have permission to add class rosters to course sites in UVACollab. Instructors-of-record include anyone designated as a Primary Instructor (PI), Secondary Instructor (SI), Teaching Assistant (TA), or Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) for a given course/section in SIS.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Go to Site Settings.

Select Site Settings from the tool menu in your site.

Select the Edit Class Roster(s) tab.

Select Add Roster(s).

Select the class roster(s).

  1. Check the box(es) for the roster(s) to add to your site.
  2. Select Continue.

Confirm adding the roster(s).

You will be taken to a confirmation page listing the roster(s) that have already been added to the site and the roster(s) to add.

Select Add Class(es) to confirm adding the new roster(s).
